Atxam Corporation
The Atxam Corporation, the village corporation for the Unangax village of Atka, Alaska, was incorporated on November 9, 1973 under the laws of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), which established the
Alaska Native Fund in the United States Treasury. The Atxam Corporation's original Articles of Incorporation were executed on October 20, 1973 by the following seven (7) shareholders serving as incorporators: Daniel Prokopeuff, Larry W. Dirks, Sr., Innokenty Golodoff, Spiridon Zaochney, Nadesta Golley, and Mike Snigaroff. The Atxam Corporation is responsible for empowering our shareholders and meeting social, economic, and cultural obligations through continually growing revenue. We accomplish this with learned proficiency, consistency in high-quality standards, exceptional customer service and a unique range of company investments.
The Atxam Corporation holds incomparable value of their Board of Directors whose ability for expeditious decision-making assists in quick mobilization of projects. The Atxam Corporation currently has one office building located in Atka, AK and plans to open another in Anchorage, AK in the near future, as the Board of Directors views this move as a necessary step to growth and diversification.
